Make Room for Growth

Growth has a funny way of asking for space before it ever asks for effort. We often think we need to add something new—a better plan, more motivation, another seasoning or sauce—when sometimes the first step is simply clearing out what no longer belongs. Old habits, outdated expectations, cluttered cabinets, and even stories we've told ourselves for years can quietly occupy the very room where something better is trying to take root. A garden can't flourish if every inch is covered in weeds, and neither can we.

Making room for growth usually begins with letting go. That might mean releasing the need to have everything figured out, saying no to commitments that drain you, or accepting that you've outgrown a spice blend that once fit perfectly. Growth —it's also about creating enough breathing room for the person you're already becoming to finally emerge.

As you move through this week, take a look around your life and ask yourself a simple question: What is taking up space that no longer deserves it? The answer may not come all at once, but every little bit of room you create makes space for fresh ideas, stronger relationships, unexpected opportunities, and a little more peace. Remember a cluttered kitchen; a cluttered grill space is a cluttered mind. Sometimes the biggest step forward begins with just…… making room.
